I thank you for having published Benazir’s poem on this day of all days. The timing is absolutely perfect. Her party is expected to win and come to power and that would be her vindication.
She would have liked it; I can assure you because she had a very soft corner for Iran and the Iranian people, being Iranian from her mother’s side. May God bless and keep her.

I am really grateful to you for publishing Benazir Bhutto’s beautiful poem on Monday at Tehran Times. It has a strong, moving touch, other than its having many themes like that of exile and otherness. It's worth reading, studying and quoting.
